Our Board of Trustees serves as a model for putting Unity Principles to work at our Spiritual Center. Always putting Spirit first, we lead from a consciousness of abundance, love, and understanding. Throughout this unprecedented experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, your Board has been closely monitoring the finances of our spiritual center and we are committed to keeping you up to date on our financial status. During this time of Shelter-In-Place, we are holding our meetings with Zoom.
You are welcome to attend the meeting beginning at 6:30 pm. You have two opportunities to participate during the meeting: at the beginning after the approval of the previous meeting's minutes and towards the end after the action item review.
What: Gathering of friends from Unity Palo Alto
With: Frances Mann-Craik

Our intention is to connect, uplift, support, and to laugh. After an opening reading and review of heart agreements, we can check-in. Let’s talk about how we are, drawing strength from our Perfect Source, our Unity philosophy, and each other. Don’t forget to share something that uplifts you, warms your heart, or gives you a chuckle.
With Karen Friedman Each Tuesday evening 7:30 – 8:30
Here is another opportunity to spend time with your Unity family as we all shelter in place. With an intention to connect, uplift, support, and laugh we check-in and share. Our time together is relaxed and open.
The racial reckoning in the nation is hard to ignore. This is a book study for white people who recognize that systemic racism exists in our country and want to be part of the solution. In this book, Robin DiAngelo challenges us to look at a broader definition of racism, one that includes socialization of which we may be unaware. She explains white fragility, how it serves to keep racial inequity in place, and how we can begin to change it. There may be some discomfort as we come to terms with our whiteness. The group is there to support us as we learn together, moving us a little closer to racial healing.
Throughout this unprecedented experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, your Board of Trustees has been closely monitoring the finances of our spiritual center. After the Sunday Service, we will hold a special All-Congregation Zoom meeting at 11:00 am. Daniel Frandsen, your Board Treasurer, will present our current and projected financial status, answer your questions, and offer an opportunity to brainstorm ideas. This is an important meeting. Everyone from our spiritual community is encouraged to attend online and participate.
Connect and discuss the Sunday Service with your spiritual community and Rev. John Riley.
Then, infuse our community prayer requests with love and blessings before we send them off to Silent Unity, where they will be held in prayer for 30 days. This meditation service lead by Casey Wicker, Licensed Unity Teacher, is the same sacred practice used by Silent Unity. One heart, one voice in prayer, affirming the light within.

The Five Principles: A Guide to Practical Spirituality, by Ellen Debenport, was written to provide tools for daily living and suggests answers to the great questions of existence. These principles reflect the laws of the universe that apply to everyone, all the time. They show up in every major religion and in the teachings of Jesus Christ. The author encourages every reader to work with these principles, test them, apply them to your life, and watch what happens.
