The racial reckoning in the nation is hard to ignore. This is a book study for white people who recognize that systemic racism exists in our country and want to be part of the solution. In this book, Robin DiAngelo challenges us to look at a broader definition of racism, one that includes socialization of which we may be unaware. She explains white fragility, how it serves to keep racial inequity in place, and how we can begin to change it. There may be some discomfort as we come to terms with our whiteness. The group is there to support us as we learn together, moving us a little closer to racial healing.
