We bless our children every Sunday by affirming, "You are God's perfect child. God and I love you just the way you are." At Unity Palo Alto, we celebrate and emphasize our youth ministry. We tailor the Sunday youth experience for each age group to create an energetic and inspiring atmosphere.
Nursery
Infant through age 2. Available at both the 8:45 & 11:00am services.
Our dedicated staff, assisted by volunteers, lovingly cares for babies through age two in a bright, cheerful, fully-equipped nursery. Children enjoy a simple, brief spiritual lesson, lots of free-play with a variety of educational toys, lots of individual attention, and a snack.
We recommend that toddlers and infants attend nursery for their growth and happiness and in consideration of adults desiring to have an optimal worship experience in the sanctuary.
Pagers are available for parents.
Wonder Bears & UniKids
Preschool through 5th Grade. Available at both the 8:45 and 11:00am services.
Our Youth Education teachers and staff members provide a loving, nurturing environment for your children to begin their spiritual growth in life. A well-founded spiritual curriculum is provided to reach each child's age and level of understanding. It is designed to meet the spiritual, psychological, emotional, physical and social needs at every age level. Here they can be comfortable with themselves, their peers, and their teachers.
Children aged 3 through kindergarten are grouped together and called our "Wonder Bears." The elementary school 1st graders through 5th graders are our "UniKids."
Uniteens
6th through 8th Grade. Meets at the 11:00am service.
Sunday morning worship service for these pre-teens and teenagers provides spiritual education with an expanded purpose and more developed activities. It includes a spiritual lesson, meditation, joy songs, and sharing time. A loving, supportive social environment is provided in which teens are guided on the path of spiritual development and successful living.
Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.)
High school. Meets at the 11:00am service.
Our teen ministry strives to be a place of unconditional love and acceptance. Our teens lead the group in partnership with our adult sponsors, giving everyone the opportunity to explore their spirituality, build connections, and develop leadership skills. The Y.O.U. meet every Sunday at 11:00 in the fireside room and have many social and service activities throughout the year.
