Rev. Karyn Bradley, Senior Minister
Welcome. It’s an honor and a privilege to serve Unity Palo Alto as Senior Minister. “I fairly sizzle with zeal and enthusiasm,” as Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore wrote at 94 years of age, when I think about our journey together. We are exploring our unity with God and with each other,discovering peace inside and out, practicing spiritual truths and seeing them demonstrated in our lives. And of course I love to think about every member of our congregation as an individual beacon of light, going out into the community and beyond, expressing divine love.
After becoming ordained and licensed as a minister in 1995 at Unity Institute, I served at Unity Temple on the Plaza in Kansas City as co-minister for ten years. I became the Senior Minister here in October, 2005. I love ministry. No two days are ever alike and I get ample opportunities to practice the personal mission statement that guides me: to celebrate, inspire and nurture love, integrity and humor in all my relationships.
On a more personal note, I am a former teacher. I love movies, reading and bird watching. And I dearly love my partner, Gerry, whom I’ve been with since 1994.
I’m so glad you visited us online and hope to see you sometime soon at our “brick and mortar” church, where I can greet you more personally with a smile and a hug.
Board of Trustees
Your Board of Trustees is dedicated to the success of Unity Palo Alto. They serve this community through wise financial decisions, leadership assistance, the conservation of our spiritual purpose, and upholding the bylaws. They ensure that all Unity teams and committees are supported as they promote peace in the Bay Area and beyond. Trustees are elected each year by the active members attending the Unity Palo Alto annual meeting.

Voting Members
Everyone is welcome at Unity Palo Alto and we invite you to make an even deeper connection with your spiritual home by becoming a voting member. Voting members receive regular wellness calls from a Prayer Chaplain, can run as a candidate for the Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee, and are eligible to vote at all membership meetings. Our “New Member” curriculum incorporates two classes: Keys to the Kingdom and Unity Basics. We will focus on the teachings of true prosperity, Unity Principles, Bible interpretation, and the teachings of Jesus. You may take one or both classes; however, to become a voting member of Unity Palo Alto you must to complete the entire 12 week curriculum and satisfy other membership requirements.
