Message from the Board President

January, 2008

Dear Friends,

Welcome to 2008! I hope this will be a spirit-filled year for all of us. I look forward with anticipation to what is unfolding in my life and in the life of our community. I trust that we do our part in connecting with Spirit, we and our community will be richly rewarded.

I want to mention a couple of important events in the life of the church in the first three months of the year:

First of all, we say goodbye to our dear Ministerial Executive, Eric Nitzberg. He has brought many wonderful gifts to our spiritual community in a whole host of different ways. We will miss his wise teaching and his wonderful spirit of integrity, dedication and love. Please join your board at an all-church potluck on Friday, Feb. 15 to celebrate his work and wish him well. (Details will be announced nearer the time.)

Second is an early announcement of our next annual meeting which will be after second service on March 9. At this time, the members of the church will be asked to approve the budget for fiscal year April 2008 through March 2009 and to honor departing board members and elect new ones. If you are not a member we encourage you to still share in this piece of business and bring your spirit and interest to the meeting.
