Holiday Community Giving
Christmas Give a Gift Program 2007
Nov. 4 through Dec. 9 Coordinated by Rita McAlister, Paul & Jehane Johnson, and the Unity Teens
The Heart to Heart program benefits our own Unity family (the elderly, children, singles, couples and families).
Haven House,
located in Menlo Park, provides temporary housing and employment assistance to parents
of temporarily homeless families.
Lytton Gardens, located in Palo Alto, provides housing and care for elderly people who need
various levels of medical supervision, and love. Many of their residents have little or no family.
To provide food and gifts to our own Unity family, Haven House or Lytton Gardens please stop by and leave a monetary donation
at the Give a Gift table in the courtyard after the services on Sunday, Nov. 4 through Dec. 9.
Monetary donations will be used to buy gift cards for food, gas, clothes, etc.
Please make checks payable to Unity with your choice of Unity Family, Haven House, or Lytton Gardens
written in the memo area.
Referral forms to the Heart to Heart program are now available in the back of the sanctuary,
in the church office or under our bulletin boards in the courtyard.
Please turn the completed form in to the church office by Sunday, Nov. 25.
You can also directly contact Rita McAlister
at rita@unitypaloalto.org.
All names will be held in strict confidence.
