In addition to Sunday services, we offer workshops, classes, and events that will lift your spirit and give you something to help you with the real life issues you face during the week. We look forward to seeing you!
This Sunday, 5/27, at Unity Palo Alto – Sunday Morning Meditation from 9:00-9:30am with Sue Skalina. Sunday Celebration Service – “Blessing You” With Rev. John Riley and music by Charlie Thweatt. Oneness is reality. The boundary between ourselves and other people and between ourselves and Nature, is illusion. A blessing is an imparting of spiritual good, and to be a blessing is to be a beacon that shines forward hope, faith, and wisdom. I allow the inner light of Spirit to guide me that I may bring light to those around me.

Fall Enrichment Program
In The I of the Storm: Embracing Conflict, Creating Peace we learn to go beyond merely managing the conflict in our lives to actually embracing the conflict, allowing it to teach us what we otherwise might not learn. This process leads to peacemaking whether it be within ourselves, in our relationships, or as a result of outside circumstances.
The magic of this book is the way Dr. Simmons, in a very practical, reality based manner, discusses the challenges, temptations and hazards the world presents to us on a day-to-day basis that distracts us from our purpose here on Earth. He provides practical techniques and strategies, both spiritually and materially based, to help us avoid these hazards, allowing us to better align ourselves with our divine purpose and mission.
Our Fall Enrichment program is a 7-week, in-depth spiritual exploration of the book. Click here for more information and weekly recaps.

Have you put your happiness on hold -- Waiting for something/someone to change so you can be happy?
“The Work” is a simple and deeply transformative process that is helping people around the world approach their stress, guilt, shame and blaming patterns from a perspective of clarity and inner peace. It works for 100% of people who really want to know the truth. You cannot be spiritually mature without emotional maturity. Free YourSELF! NOW!
This workshop is for everyone on a path of SELF realization. Be guided through a simple, yet powerful process of inquiry to discover that all stressful thoughts and beliefs --- about life, other people, or yourself – radically shift. “The Work” consists of four questions and turnarounds, which are a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. With inquiry, you discover and experience choices beyond suffering. One thought at a time, you transform the way you experience your life.
This tool can set you free. Experience it for yourSELF. Peace or Pain? You decide!

Based on a dualistic concept of God, prayer has historically been directed to a God both outside of and distant from ourselves. We will explore the function and nature of prayer from the view of Unity Minister Eric Butterworth in his book The Universe Is Calling: Opening to the Divine Through Prayer. During this interactive course, we will:
- Identify the limiting beliefs that prevent us from living more authentically from an awareness of our divine nature
- Discover how meditation and the Silence can bring us into alignment with our Christ Nature
- Practice Unity’s 5-Step Prayer Process, and discuss how we pray for self and others
Please read the Introduction, Prologue, and Chapters 1-4 before the first class.

Thought patterns seem hard to change precisely because we still believe these stressful thoughts. However, would you still believe them if you could see that they are not true? And if this were simple to learn, how might it change your life? Come find out. Meetings will be punctuated by discussions, video, and audio materials of Byron Katie.
