Are you wary about being compassionate to yourself? Why? Often we think that being too kind to ourselves will make us weak or self-indulgent so we won't reach our goals. In fact, research shows that self-compassion turns out to be much more effective than self-criticism—for improving our lives at work, in health, in personal relationships, and achieving our goals. Come join us for a 6-week journey using the power of self-compassion to improve your life. We will practice self-compassion so that in difficult moments in your life you can respond with kindness, care, and understanding both towards yourself and others.

Prayer Circle Service

All are invited to infuse our community prayer requests with love and blessings before we send them off to Silent Unity, where they will be held in prayer for 30 days. This meditation service is the same sacred practice used by Silent Unity. One heart, one voice in prayer, affirming the light within.

Conscious Communication Practice Group

Gain greater awareness of yourself and how you communicate. This group begins with an introductory process of reflective writing and sharing, moves into a practical application of the tools of Nonviolent Communication, and finishes with a guided listening exercise in the form of dyads.
