Bookstore

The mission of the Unity Bookstore is to support the personal and spiritual growth and development of the members of our spiritual community and contribute to our greater world. We strive to make it a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who visits the store. It is an oasis where you can expand your mind and spirit. On Sundays, there are always congregants and visitors alike browsing, shopping, researching, exchanging ideas and recommendations. Some simply enjoy soaking up the wonderful atmosphere in this space. It is much quieter on weekdays and some folks like to come and browse during this uncrowded time.

Books on contemporary spirituality, new thought, mysticism, prayer and meditation, personal growth and Unity books are a few of the more than 30 categories of books in the store. We have an excellent selection of children's books. The store is also a good place to find new age, Native American, and world music as well as a selection of unique gifts. We get new stock in every week so feel free to come and browse.

The bookstore is staffed by volunteers on Sundays. If you are interested in volunteering in the bookstore, please call Michael, Bookstore Manager, at 650-849-1109, or send an email to bookstore@unitypaloalto.org. During the week visitors can enter the bookstore through the office. The staff assists customers during the week.
