Unity Palo Alto, in partnership with World Vision, is answering the call to help the people who compassionately care for those with AIDS in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
33 million people are living with HIV and AIDS and right now there are 15 million children who have lost one or both parents to AIDS. Nearly 12 million of them live in sub-Saharan Africa. In these communities, the battle is being fought by individuals volunteering as community caregivers with nothing more than compassion in their heart and an AIDS Caregiver Kit.
Over 77,000 dedicated family caregivers and volunteers are providing comfort and care for people living with AIDS in Africa, Asia and Latin America. These courageous caregivers often sacrifice everything to care for sick relatives, neighbors, and other community members. But too often they lack even basic supplies.

AIDS Caregiver Kit Ptoject
Thank you! Together, as a community, we came together to purchase the supplies and build 400 caregiver kits. This powerful expression of our love in action has a tremendous impact on the volunteer caregivers who compassionately care for those affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We will equip 80 caregivers for an entire year. Each one-year kit equals 200 visits, so we will be providing 16,000 patient visits!
