In preparation for the new fiscal year, the Finance Committee has prepared a draft budget. The successful pledge drive reports 165 pledges for a total of $353,165. What a great response! How blessed we are.

The proposed budget will be presented at the church’s annual meeting on March 4. If you are a member you can vote, if not your support and attendance is appreciated.

The board is considering undertaking a capital fund campaign primarily for repair, maintenance and beautification of our facility. We are in the early stages of dialogue, however the board will be continuing prayerful consideration of such a project.

Rev. Karyn reminds us all of the wonderful opportunities we have for active participation. The youth department is seeking those excited to participate in the new training program; prayer chaplains will start training soon, and the adult education program thrives. Those of us who took the Keys to the Kingdom class in 2006 strongly encourage each one of you to seriously consider participating in this opportunity for spiritual growth.
